My trip to Dubai was the culmination of a decades long wait to fulfill a ‘bucket list’ item and unexpectedly served as the inspiration of this venture. As such, it was meant to be the first Journey & Adventure on offer this fall, intended to coincide with the launch of the Dubai Expo celebrating not just Dubai – but the world. With an eye toward the future and ecological balance what more perfect place to begin. Now, with the Dubai Expo on pause we will be the first to be there when they are ready to once again welcome the world.

We will start with at the Burj al Arab – the perfect place to acclimate to our stay in Dubai while we literally soak in the sumptuousness of our surrounding. Known as the only 7-star hotel in the world, all thanks to a British journalist, there is nothing it cannot provide. While there we will take advantage of the sensually self-indulgent spa, relish afternoon tea and dine with some of the best chefs and sommeliers the world has to offer – truly a foodie paradise! Everything else we’ll leave up to our personal butlers…

Our base of operations for exploring the expo will be the Jumeirah Al Qasr to continue our Arabian experience. Exuding the very essence of calming Arabian and Emirati hospitality, the Jumeirah Al Qasr is ideally situated for our explorations. Aside from the expo we will take part in a luxury safari in the stunning Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve culminating in a gourmet 6-course dinner under the stars. And we will not say goodbye to Dubai before having had Tea at the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building and freestanding structure in the world. I cannot wait to share this incredibly magic land with you!
