1 cup of rice
3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of butter
5 cloves of garlic, minced or diced (as you prefer)
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Prepare your favorite rice according to the directions on the box
In a large skillet, melt olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for about 3 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring do not burn the garlic.
Stir in the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes on each side, add salt and pepper.
Add cream and cook and stir for about five minutes, until creamy and heated through.
Remove from heat – Serve over rice and sprinkle with parsley.
