Does any city celebrate Christmas better than New York City?. Maybe, but in my opinion NYC is up there. I have been blessed to experience this magic for two decades. We have wonderful holiday attractions and city sights turn our skyscrapers into a magical twinkling landscape. The city streets are decked out in shimmering lights and dazzling displays of ornaments, snowflakes, and tinsel.
It’s a fantastic place to be during this festive time of year, it’s a must, at least once, it has so much Christmas spirit. Though, It is a very busy time to be in NYC, there are a lot of crowds and shoppers and sightseers especially in Midtown at the Rockefeller Plaza where I have my office and I must admit in December it’s hard place to be with SO many tourists. It can drive us nuts at times, but I always stop for a moment and watch and see the wonderful excitement of the people and energy of the season, makes all the madness worth it. Watching everyone in awe as they see that magnificent tree, it’s truly a magical time of year to be in NYC.
If you decide to come this time of year, a must to do and go see is, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and The Nutcracker at NY City Ballet, I have seen both many times and each time I am like an excited five year old experiencing it for the first time, with this winter wonderland, it’s hard not to feel like a kid again.
