Felidia Restaurant
Ever since Felidia opened her doors on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in 1981, it has been revered as one of the best Italian restaurants in Manhattan, I can concur. Lidia Bastianich bestselling cookbook author restaurateur and longtime very talented Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra pictured here with us.
I was very fortunate to live only five minutes’ walk from her wonderful upper east flagship Italian restaurant for 12 years and dined here a lot and we share a similar background Lidia grew up eating farm-to-table meals with her Italian family as I did.
Felidia Italian food is the same way you would taste it in Italy. No Italian American twist, here you taste the flavor of Italy with rare fresh ingredients, inventive meals but inspired by the Italian tradition. If you love homemade pasta this is the restaurant for you, It will never disappoint you but may leave you with a desire to return and soon.
